A practicing Academic Family Physician with interest, qualifications, experience, and multiple publications in Medical Education. Currently working as Professor of Family Medicine and chairman of Family and Community Medicine department at the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences of the Arabian Gulf University (CMMS-AGU) in Bahrain. He is also a board member of the WHO collaborating center for health professions Education in AGU. Participating as a trainer in multiple local and regional Faculty Development Programs in Medical Education and Family Medicine. At the international level, he is a faculty member of iheed® Cambridge Education Group in their MSc. in Medical Education for Healthcare Professionals. During the COVID times, he led CMMS-AGU team to conduct one of the earliest fully online OSCEs in the region (May 2020). This was followed by multiple relevant publications and workshops.
